3 Lakes Dental Center is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

Our practice located in Fort Lauderdale/Tamarac is looking to hire a positive and friendly Dental Assistant. Willing to train the right candidate. New Dental Assisting program graduates and foreign trained dental professionals are welcome to apply! Position is 25-30 hours a week to start with the opportunity to taken on more hours in the future.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with patients before, during and after dental procedures
  • Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
  • Caring for dental equipment
  • Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics
  • Giving patients information on dental hygiene and oral health care
  • Presenting treatment options to patients
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Dental Assisting experience is an asset but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
